Topographic map at a scale of 1 : 250 000 is a digital topographic map based on the cartographic database scale 1 : 250 000, which represents a set of geospatial positioned entities modeled by natural and man-made objects on the Earth's surface, that satisfy the conditions for display in the scale of 1 : 250 000. Topographic map at a scale of 1 : 250 000 consists of 14 sheets. The dimension of one sheet is 150 km along the horizontal axis and 100 km along the vertical axis.
Cartographic Base 1:20 000 is a set of entities that have modeled natural and artificial objects on the earth's surface, and which meet the conditions for display in the scale of 1: 20 000. CB20 is used to create topographic maps in the scale of 1: 20 000, 1: 25 000, 1: 50 000, 1: 100 000 and 1: 250 000. Cartographic Base 1: 250 000 is a set of entities that have modeled natural and artificial objects on the earth's surface, and which meet the conditions for display in the scale of 1: 250 000 with data on their geospatial position, classification and other attributes.
EuroRegionalMap (ERM) is a pan-European dataset containing topographic information at the scale 1:250 000 covering 51 European countries and territories (according to ISO country code) from 36 data producers including 27 EU member states, 4 EFTA states (Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland), Georgia, Moldova, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. It is a seamless and harmonised data and is produced in cooperation by the National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies (NMCA) of Europe, using official national databases. EuroRegionalMap is ideal for a wide range of uses, including spatial analysis, cartographic publishing and backdrop visualisation, or in combination with other datasets for marketing planning and socio-economic analysis, environmental analysis, and transport management.
